Celebrating Molly Lamb Bobak

The Beaverbrook Art Gallery extends sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Molly Lamb Bobak.

Terry Graff, Director/CEO and Chief Curator states, “The passing of Molly Lamb Bobak is a massive loss, not only to the New Brunswick community, but to the Canadian art world. Molly was a prolific artist of national stature, who possessed a singularly original vision throughout her career. What stands out in all of her work – flowers, interiors, still lifes, community groups – is a love of the beauty of the stuff of ordinary life. We will remember Molly for her sense of humour, her generosity, and, of course, her incredible art, which stands as a lasting and beautiful affirmation of life.”

In celebration of the life and art of Molly Lamb Bobak, the Beaverbrook Art Gallery invites the public to view a sampling of her work from the permanent collection.
