To celebrate our photography exhibitions, the Beaverbrook Art Gallery has teamed up with EYE BUY ART, an online, curated photography gallery based in Toronto, to offer high quality photographic prints to our guests, members, and supporters in three different ways.

The Beaverbrook Art Gallery gift shop is currently showcasing the six carefully selected, limited edition images that make up the Canadian Souvenir series. The series, writes Emily McInnes, EYE BUY ART’s founder and director, is “based on the theme ‘The Canadian Souvenir’! The inspiration for this project comes from the souvenir section at the airport, and our fascination with how we market ourselves to tourists – because nothing says the ‘authentic Canadian experience’ like a plastic inukshuk bottle stopper, or a stuffed beaver in a hockey jersey.”

WIN:

Gallery visitors have a special opportunity to win their favourite archival quality print from this group simply by completing a ballot at our Front Desk. Winning ballots will be selected at random on May 14, May 28, and June 11, 2012.

Those interested can also purchase these prints directly through our shop, at a price of $50 per print plus a shipping fee of $12.50 per order. Prints are also available framed, at a price of $175 plus a shipping fee to be determined at the time of the order.
